Life has taken many twists and turns in the last 4 months. Can you believe it? Abigail would have been 4 months old on January 30th! Time is flying by.
The Workman household has been incredibly busy. I have been busy working. Many changes happened in that department. Some not so fun and some have been good. I am grateful for all of the lessons learned. Trying to let go of the bitterness while also building healthy boundaries and productive walls of protection. Lyle has started residency!!!! Do you know how amazing it is to hear the words DR. WORKMAN!! He has worked so hard to get there! I am so very proud of the hard work and perseverence. OK enough with our work!
So, the big news:
WE BOUGHT OUR FIRST HOME!!!
We closed on Feb. 3rd. It is so beautiful and even more beautiful with OUR things in it! This is our home. Memories will be made here. Laughter will be shared and tears will be shed. There will be lots of love and even some fighting (yes, we fight). I am so excited about what God is up to in year 2012! Spring is coming friends, and the sun is going to shine. I am so blessed that this is my life. We miss Fort Worth/Argyle and friends and family everyday, but we know that this is where God has us for now. We will grow where we are planted, and we will do it with grace.
We miss our baby and we ask that you would continue to cover us in prayer as we learn to grow without her. Thank you for your love and your friendships! We are forever grateful!
